Based in Oldenburg Germany, energy & meteo systems GmbH (emsys) assists grid operators, power producers, aggregators and traders' worldwide in efficient grid and market integration of renewable power plants. Varun has led emsys in several forecasting and VPP projects in Europe, North America, Asia and Gulf region. Varun obtained his PhD in the field of energy economics form University of Bonn Germany and MS in renewable power systems from University of Oldenburg Germany.
