Uygar Yoruk has over 30 years of experience with a strong emphasis on technology, energy market design and electricity trading. He is one of the co-founders and leading global growth activities of SmartPulse, which is a short-term power trading automation platform.
He currently works as SVP Ancillary Services & Market Communication for Volue. Previously, he led the Data & Analytics practice of Gartner Consulting for the UK & Ireland, and before that, he led the Technology Practice of Deloitte Turkey. He has played a pivotal role in the establishment of the electricity market in Turkey, serving the regulator, TSO, exchange, and nearly all major market players as a consultant throughout the first 10 years of the market.
