Tudor Cîrstea began his career in electricity trading in 2006 in Romania. He has worked for companies such as Sempra Energy, RBS Sempra Energy, and JP Morgan Energy Europe. Since 2016, he has been employed at Freepoint Commodities Europe, where he is responsible for the Southeastern European market.

He has been a board member of AFEER (Romanian Energy Suppliers and Traders Association) since 2012.
