Tamás Hiezl
Tamás Hiezl has been Managing Director at CEZ Hungary Limited since September 2015, overseeing the company’s retail activities in the Hungarian market. Prior to this role, he held several senior positions at ELMŰ-ÉMÁSZ-MÁSZ, including Head of Portfolio Management, where he coordinated energy procurement, risk management, and forecasting for both regulated and free markets, and Head of Sales Support, leading consumer pricing, product development, and commercial IT systems.
He began his career at EdF DÉMÁSZ Zrt., working in various marketing functions, and has been a Member of the Board of the Hungarian Energy Traders’ Association since 2013, serving as Chairman since 2025.
Tamás holds an Executive MBA from Budapest Corvinus University and a degree in Economics (Marketing and Management) from Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf. He is a native Hungarian speaker, with professional proficiency in German and advanced English skills.
