Rasmus Neergaard Jacobsen

Rasmus began his career in 2003 trading wood from Russia to European furniture factories, before moving into logistics at Novo Nordisk. In 2007, he joined DONG Energy (now Ørsted) to work with gas logistics and later upstream commercial roles in Norway with Faroe Petroleum (now DNO). In 2018, he returned to Denmark to focus on energy investments and project development in solar, BESS, and PtX, before joining Energinet in 2019. Since then, he has held commercial responsibility for Energinet’s contracts with neighboring TSOs and now leads broader commercial activities in the gas sector.
Rasmus holds an M.Sc. in Forestry and Nature Management from the University of Copenhagen.
