Ozan Korkmaz has over 20 years of experience in the energy industry, specializing in software development, energy demand and electricity price forecasting (both fundamental and statistical), feasibility analysis of power generation technologies, generation optimization modeling, and electricity transmission, distribution, and retail tariff design. He is the co-founder of SmartPulse, a short-term power trading automation platform; Aplus Enerji, a power market advisory firm specializing in price forecasting; and Sayax, a CRM and billing software for power retailers. Throughout his career, he has played a pivotal role in developing innovative energy solutions that enhance efficiency and market performance. Before transitioning into entrepreneurship, Ozan focused on academic research in energy market modeling, contributing to advancements in energy market analytics and optimization. He holds a BSc and MSc in Civil Engineering and a PhD in Energy Engineering.
