Mariana joined Equinor in 2024 and currently provides regulatory advice to natural gas and LNG business units within the company’s Marketing Midstream and Processing area.
She focuses on EU and national rules and procedures regulating gas trading and the use of gas infrastructure, as well as on commodity market frameworks for compliance transactions in biomethane and bio-LNG. She has previously held regulatory analyst posts with the Gas Committee of Energy Traders Europe, the Energy Community Secretariat, and the EU Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators. She holds a master’s degree from the School of Economics and Political Science of the University of Athens.
