Daniel Hacki currently serves as the Commercial Director Europe for D.Trading, the trading arm of DTEK Group. He was appointed to this position in May 2025, with a commercial and strategic mandate to scale gas, power and renewables trading operations across Europe and connect the business with D.Trading’s Ukrainian operations and other entities within the DTEK Group.

Mr. Hacki is a seasoned energy executive with over 20 years of leadership experience across the European energy markets. Throughout his career, he has held senior roles in trading, origination, and strategy at major European and global energy companies (EnBW, Koch Supply & Trading, Essent Trading, RWE Supply & Trading, Enron) and consultancies. His expertise spans multi-commodity trading, energy transition, asset-backed origination, and market expansion across both established and emerging markets.

Prior to joining D.Trading, he focused on building trading platforms, developing structured energy products, and enabling capital investment in decarbonization. He has led cross-functional teams, launched new business lines, and driven strategic growth in gas, power, and renewables across Europe.

Mr. Hacki holds an MBA from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and completed an exchange program at Case Western Reserve University in the United States. He is fluent in German, English, and Hungarian, with additional proficiency in French.
