Arkadiusz Zieleźny has been involved in the energy industry since the beginning of his career. He has over 25 years of experience in the energy industry, where he has worked in various capacities. His first experience was at Enron and PSEG Poland, and then at Atel Poland, where he became managing director in 2008. When the company was renamed Alpiq Energy European Company, he took on the position of managing director of its Polish branch. In April 2011, he joined Kulczyk Investments, where he supervised the work of the trading department of the Polenergia Group while acting as President of the Management Board of Polenergia OBRÓT S.A.

Currently, as of 2020, he is associated with ORLEN Group, an integrated multi-utility company with operations in Central Europe and Canada. ORLEN Group provides energy and fuels to more than 100 million Europeans, and our advanced products are available in more than 90 countries on six continents. Having been appointed first to the position of Energy Expert at ORLEN S.A. and then to the position of President of the Management Board of ORLEN Energia sp. z o.o., a subsidiary of ORLEN Energia, he was and continue to be responsible for the vast project of Integrating Wholesale Trade in Electricity and Related Products of the ORLEN Group.

He have actively participated in initiatives aimed at improving market integrity and compliance. He participated in the work of industry organizations, among others, as Chairman of the Polish Market Working Group at EFET. He is also a long-time member of the Executive Board of the Association of Energy Trading.
