Péter Kaderjak - Minister of State for Energy Affairs and Climate Policy - Hungarian Ministry of Innovation and Technology

Dr. Péter Kaderjak is the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Policy, in the Ministry of Innovation and Technology. He is Ph.D. in Management and Business Administration and MSc in economics, both from Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary. He has been the Director of REKK, the Regional Centre for Energy Policy Research at the Corvinus University of Budapest from 2004 to 2018. Formerly he had several positions in public administration. Among others, he served as the President of the Hungarian Energy Office and as a member of ACER’s Board of Appeal (2011-16). He is directing a postgraduate program in Energy Economics at Corvinus and training director for the Energy Regulators Regional Association. He is a regular lecturer at the Florence School of Regulation and member of its Policy Advisory Council. His major research fields are energy economics, energy security, regulation and environmental economics.

Marek Musial - Geton Energy - Chief Executive Officer

Marek Musial has been with his present company, Geton Energy (part of Lietuvos Energija Group), since its inception in 2017. At the beginning they were a very small company of two, now Geton has a team of eight employees. The main part of the activity is power trading mainly in Poland, Nordic countries. Recently Geton has also started gas trading. In the past, he worked for Alpiq from 2004 to 2017. He was Managing director of Alpiq Energy in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia and tasked with entering this market. This work took him to Finland, Norway, Sweden, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

Plamen Popov - Head of Trading South East Europe - Statkraft

Plamen Popov has more than 30 years working experience in power transmission and generation projects in Bulgarian and Lebanon. Between 2001 and 2005 Plamen Popov played a leading role in initial design and opening of Bulgarian electricity market. In 2006 Plamen Popov joined Norwegian power generator Statkraft. Since then he is actively involved in origination of the power markets and coordination of trading activities in the countries of Central and South-East Europe. His current position is Head of power trading for South-East Europe in Statkraft Markets GmbH, based in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Konstantinos Athanassiadis - Chairman of the Board - ESEPIE

Konstantinos Athanassiadis between 1999 and 2008 undertook various assignments in Greece and abroad in the fields of business and strategy consulting and business development. Since the establishment of    GEN-I Athens in 2008, he has been active in Regional Origination, holding the position of Regional Manager for Greece. Soon after its establishment, GEN-I Athens became the leading alternative electricity trader in Greece. As of 2014, when the HELLENIC ASSOCIATION OF ELECTRICITY TRADING & SUPPLY COMPANIES (ESEPIE) was established, he holds the position of Chairman of the Board actively promoting the development of the Greek Electricity Market and its transformation based on EU best practices.
